To mark the start of the 2024 academic year, the École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) welcomed Philippe Jabre as guest speaker for its inaugural lecture, in a conversation moderated by Frédéric Picard, editor-in-chief of Figaro.fr and faculty member at ESA.
In front of an audience of students and faculty, Philippe Jabre reflected on his professional journey, his commitments, and the challenges of a shifting global economic landscape. The session gave rise to an open exchange around key themes such as transmission, responsibility, and education.
A feature on this event appears in the April 2025 issue of ESA’s journal, L’ESActus.
“ESA had the honour of hosting Philippe Jabre—an iconic figure in global finance, described as a 'City legend' by the Financial Times—for the school’s inaugural lecture, in conversation with Frédéric Picard, editor-in-chief of Figaro.fr and professor at ESA. A rare opportunity for students to engage with an inspiring personality, and a way to open the year under the banner of ambition, energy, and openness.”
