Applications are received between February 15 and May 31 of each year. These applications are valid for the academic year that follows.
All scholarship holders must always and regularly provide APJ with their academic bulletins throughout the year.
In July, following the academic results, the student's contract will be restudied and will be renewed for the coming year in accordance with the new guidelines of the APJ and the decisions of its committee.
Thus, during the months of July and August, the former candidates whose file is approved are asked to come to put their consent on the form, and if the candidate cannot come personally, one of the parents must sign. This form will serve as a basic document for the estimated budget for the following year.
NB: A former scholarship holder who changes his course of study will be considered as new candidate.

From the moment you have created an account, you are asked to complete the online application within two weeks.
Two versions are available in English and French.
The application must be carefully completed and submitted online. We strongly encourage students to complete a record as soon as possible.
Once you are logged in, you will have two weeks to submit the form with supporting documents:
Photocopy of the identity card or extract of civil status.
Photocopy of the extract of family status.
School Notes of the secondary cycle.
Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent.
Admission or registration Letter of the institute or university.
Academic Notes for the students admitted in the 2nd year or more.
The university degree + 2 letters of recommendation for the students of the second year or more.
Salary attestation, school and university aid attestations for anyone working in the family, issued by the institutions where they work.
The committee, made up of people from the social service of USJ, Arcenciel, APJ, Guidance Center of Louise Wegmann College, and Alumni Committee of Jamhour, makes decisions about the applications following a notation system based on criteria and their importance.
In mid-July, the applications of new scholarship holders and the estimated budget for the former scholarship holders will be submitted to Mr. Philippe Jabre and the Board of Directors for a final contentment. Thereafter, APJ will be responsible to notify new applicants of the amount of their scholarship or refusal of the request.
For Scholarship holders and parents, practical information on the various modes of payment of scholarships
For scholarship holders studying abroad, they may have, before they travel, half of their scholarship. The remainder of the grant will be transferred to their bank account abroad in the 2nd semester.
Payments will be made in two installments, in the 1st and 2nd semesters. The results, proof of payments, received from universities should be regularly provided to APJ. Some students, like those of some free or semi-free universities abroad, who can’t provide documentation (2nd hand equipment purchases, housing among family or friends, etc.), in this case, academic results are a proof in itself.
For students who are in Lebanon, the payment will be executed at the date of payments due to the university. A check will be issued with these two cases:
Case 1: check in the student's name or a parent.
Case 2: collective check for several scholarship holders in the name of the university.
Philippe Jabre Association and BLF agreed to establish a loan program for students, designed to help pay university tuition.
Loan applications are initially presented as part of the regular process of APJ scholarship application.
